Matt loves working on house projects. Sure, he gets tired, sometimes complains, but truly, he’d be bored without them.

We have several projects we are working on, we are redoing our Laundry/Pantry room with help from the ladies of HeyLittleBirdie! You can look at our brainstorming/inspiration board on Pinterest. The kicker is that we are doing this on a budget, so we’ve been going to Goodwill and trying to find cheap ideas. It’s been fun, and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.

Mostly, I’m in charge of that project, but I bring him in when I need help, like installing a door. Matt and his dad applied the hinges and made holes for the door knob. Matt had to cut about 1/8 of an inch off in order for it to fit. I snagged video of him doing that and also of him sanding the wood sign that our house numbers will go on.

In the meantime Chloe is enjoying going to the store to buy supplies.

And by die hard, I mean, on Superbowl Sunday he went hiking with Jubee, because he figured the trails wouldn’t be busy.

In the meantime, Chloe got another haircut, I think this is either her 3rd or 4th.. I’ve lost track.

It was a lovely Sunday, beautiful day out, and had awesome wings at a potluck at The Oasis Church.
