Our Wedding Day

Getting Ready:

My amazing sister-in-law Alex Evjen did my hair and makeup and created flower hair pieces that I and my bridesmaids wore and the boutineers that my groom and his groomsmen wore.

Everyone helped me get into my dress and put on my jewelry.

I especially needed help getting into my boots:

Yes, I wore boots

Then I was off!

Initial Meet

Matt and I met before the ceremony in order to get our pictures taken:

The Invites (designed by me)

If you came to our wedding, you would have received one of these envelopes.

Inside you would have received this invitation:

And when you walked into the Airplane Hangar our lovely guest book attendants would have handed you a program:

As you were waiting for the ceremony to begin, you would have looked out at this beautiful arch that my father-in-law made and my mother-in-law decorated. Behind the arch you would have seen the airport lights and maybe an airplane land, or two.

Ceremony

Just when you were thinking “when is Yasmine coming?!” You would have seen my father walking me down the aisle.

And the ceremony would have started:

And you would have seen Matthew and I pronounced “man and wife!”

Reception

Our lovely friends and family set the tables as we walked out.

All of our friends and family were helping out by pouring the drinks, serving the cake and stepping in when anything needed to be done. We couldn’t have done it without them!

Without our loved ones, these little guys wouldn’t have received their cake!

Then it would have gotten steamy when Matt took out the creeper and took off my garter:

Then you would have seen Matt and I escape in his hot red motorcycle (after changing of course)!
